Garden

A garden is an important part of a home, and quite often it is only appreciated in the summer, but that doesn’t have to be the case if you consider your options carefully.

If you want to bring elegance to your garden then a glass veranda could be ideal. These provide shelter from wind and rain, yet you still get beautiful views over your garden, while modern verandas can include a built-in awning to offer some shade when the sun is shining.  A glass veranda is slightly different to a glass room and a conservatory because it’s open, and it can often feel like a separate living area with a really fresh atmosphere.

There are so many different features in garden that that can catch your eye, but nothing is more prominent in a garden then a luscious green lawn. To ensure your garden has a vibrant lawn; it must be mowed as often as possible, especially when the grass is dry. A phased release fertilizer will release nutrients into your lawn and these can then work to maintain that really green colour that gardeners love.

Deckings and patio areas can also be important in terms of style, and they can provide a pleasant transition to a lawn. Decking tends to be used for various seating areas, and they can work well with glass verandas, but the most important part in terms of style is the transition to the lawn. Some lawns are raised, and timber steps from a decking can provide pleasant access to a lawn.

Patios can provide a seamless transition too, and these can be shaped to add more fluidity, while pebbles and stone borders can add a different dimension. The more time you spend planning a garden the better it will look, and you should always consider your turf, seating areas and stylish equipment.

You don’t’ necessarily have to have large garden to combine stylish features, because there are many smaller gardens out there today featuring lawns, as well as decked seating areas, while glass verandas and glass rooms tend to be suited to gardens with a bit more breathing space.
